Ellen Miller Obituary
Ellen Leora Miller, age 81, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on January 12, 2026, with her family by her side.
She was born on August 24, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Huey Houston Roberts and Frankie Roberts Lunsford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Truie Miller.
Ellen was of the Pentecostal faith and lived a life devoted to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren and found great joy in sewing, crocheting, and cooking for those she loved.
She is survived by her children, Lowanda Welch Kilby and husband Rodney Kilby, Sr., Bill Raymond Welch and wife Connie, and Laura Welch Darnell; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Nancy Roberts Deal and husband Oss.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tony Nathan Welch; grandson, Caleb Bill Welch; granddaughter, Bryar Overholt; brother, Huey Roberts; and sister, Betty Roberts Kostryk.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the family home, 192 Kilby Mountain Trail, Clayton, GA 30525. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at Welch Family Cemetery.
In lieu of indoor flowers, the family requests that outdoor plants be given, which may be planted in memory of Ellen.
