Ellen Morris

Ellen Morris was born, raised, and educated in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a happy, loving, and kind-hearted woman who opened her home and her heart to many throughout her life. Over the years, Ellen welcomed numerous family members into her home, especially during times when they had nowhere else to turn. She either raised or helped raise many of the children in her family. Ellen cherished spending time with loved ones-laughing, talking, and playing cards-and she was always the life of the party.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Morris and Dorothy Hawkins; her sisters, Brenda Carroll and Cherylene Morris; her brothers, William Hawkins, Donnel Hawkins, and Lyles Morris; and her daughter-in-law, Kayanda Na'Shay Morris.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children: her son Taviane Morris and his wife, Deanna Morris; her daughter, Denean Morris; and her sons, Shawn Morris and Tavon Morris. She is also survived by her sisters, Angela Green and Larnita Hawkins; her loving partner, Eric Everette; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and dear friends who loved her deeply.
We pray that Ellen felt the love that surrounded her and always knew how much she meant to us all. We pray that in her final days, she was comforted by a peace that surpasses all understanding.
John 11:25–26:
Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in Me will live, even after dying."
We will love and miss you forever, but we take comfort in knowing that you are now at peace.
