Ellen Pleus Obituary
her family by her side. She was born in Englewood, NJ and married Lawrence "Larry" Pleus in 1958.
They lived in Teaneck, NJ for 47 years before relocating to Florida. Ellen is survived by her loving
husband Lawrence, son Lawrence Pleus of Edison, NJ; daughter Joan (Pleus) Abrahamsen and her
husband Bruce of Weeki Wachee, FL; son Michael Pleus and his wife Donna of Dumont, NJ; nine
grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Richard of Fair Lawn, NJ.
Ellen worked for Dr Vincent Carter of Teaneck NJ for 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening,
traveling, watching sports, and was immensely proud of and loved her children, grandchildren, and great-
grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held Monday Feb 5th 2024 at 10am at St Catherine RC Church Glen Rock, NJ.
Interment to follow at Christ The King Cemetary Franklin Lakes, NJ.
