Ellen Jo Storck, the daughter of Max H. and Melvina M. (Reilly) Storck, was born on August 17, 1940, in Storm Lake, Iowa. In 1957 she graduated from Pocahontas Catholic High School. Ellen the graduated from St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in 1961. She had worked as a register nurse at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, IL and Renal Care in Orland Park, IL retiring in 2006.
Ellen loved reading mystery novels, working on her cross stitch, QVC shopping and getting dressed up to go dining out where she was sure to enjoy some good tasting wine and her Bailey's. In her younger years loved to travel to the Caribbean.
Left to cherish Ellen's memory are her children; Tim Sullivan of New Lenox, IL, Bridget (Mark) Green of Rolfe and Jim (Cindy) Sullivan of Manhattan, IL; grandchildren, Josh (Amanda) Vanderhoff, Dawn (JJ) Vanderhoff, Jami (Kelly) Verschoor, Felix Green and Ken Korte; great grandchildren, Lillian, Riley, Jaymes, Hattie, Alessiea, Adrianna, Mikayla and Logan; significant other, Leo Krause of Punta Gordo, FL; and sisters, Kathy (Jack) Hanzek of Dallas, TX and Sharon Walker of Rockford, IL along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dan Storck and a granddaughter, Valerie Korte.
