Ellen was a legend. Everyone lucky enough to know her was a better person for it. Her kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness, and incredible, indescribable love for her family will be her legacy.
Her values were the foundation for her life. She was stern but kind, and she held herself firmly to those standards. She led by example, with grace and love. She insisted on good manners, respect, and dignity.
Ellen loved intensely, gave endlessly, cared tenderly, and served with joy. She inspired each life she touched. All of her contributions to her community are too vast to list, but she was involved in many charities and lived a life of community service. We who loved her closely have been blessed.
