Ellenore Ann Glade passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on February 25, 2026, in Sandy, Utah. She was born on September 11, 1935, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Harvey Hamilton Glade and Lavina Smith Glade. Ellenore graduated from East High School and later from the University of Utah, achievements she carried with pride throughout her life.

She married Howard Glenn Hillam (deceased), and together they raised six children:

Teresa (Gary) Beckstrand, Glenn (Cindy) Hillam, Kathy (Ed) Harris, John (Chrissie) Hillam, Steven (Kara) Hillam, and LV Hayes (Duncan Lambert. She served as a senior missionary in the Winnipeg, Canada, Mission.

Even at age 90, Ellenore remained young at heart. In her youth she was an accomplished dancer. She loved riding her motorcycle, waterskiing, and playing softball. She was also a social butterfly. She treasured her lifelong friends and loved entertaining and visiting. Ellenore always dressed to impress. As a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ellenore served faithfully in numerous ward and stake callings and treasured her service in the South Jordan Temple. Her faith shaped her life, her character, and her loving relationships with others.

Ellenore was the proud matriarch of a large posterity, blessed with eighty-seven descendants. She found immense joy in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and remained deeply connected to each generation–she often said, "I have the best family in the world!"

Ellenore was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Harvey, her ex-husband Howard, her ex-husband Earl Petersen, and her great-grandson Makoa Maumau.

The family wishes to thank the Suncrest Hospice Team, especially Tammy, Kaley, and Jessa, for their loving care.
