Ellinor Warner Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 13, 2026.
Ellinor Mae Warner of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 83. She was born on May 14, 1942, in Dighton, Massachusetts, the youngest daughter of Elwood and Harriet (Carr) Bullock. Ellinor grew up in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where she attended school and graduated from high school.

In 1963, she met and married a young sailor, Larry Warner. Together they moved to Michigan, where they built a life and raised their family. Ellinor worked for the State of Michigan as a secretary for many years, retiring in the early 2000s. During that time, she also enjoyed working as an Avon sales representative.

Ellinor had a lifelong love of horses and spent many years raising and breeding them while her children were young. She also enjoyed simple pleasures-Friday night fish fries, working on puzzles, and playing board games with family and friends. An avid reader, she kept an impressive personal library of books in her basement.

A caregiver at heart, Ellinor generously volunteered her time as a foster care provider and was always devoted to caring for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Sr.; her daughter, Sue Ann Warner; daughter in law, Juanita Warner; and five sisters.

Ellinor is survived by her son, Larry Warner Jr.; her grandchildren, Teri Warner, Shawn Warner, Nichole (Jeremy) Hartman, and Larry (Jenna) Warner III; her great-grandchildren, Owen and Audrey Hartman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
