Elliott McLeod Pace, born July 9th, 1949, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Esther Pace. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Joyce Pace. He is also survived by his first wife, Judith Pace and their 5 sons, Demian, Cyrus (Amber), Travis (Dawn), Jesse, and James; and his grandchildren, Timothy (Kayla), Abigail Aydelott (Denver), Louis, Cecilia, and Lio Pace; and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers, John and Buck Pace; as well as his stepsons, Ansel and Steven White. Ed was a fixer. He could fix anything. Because of his otherworldly mechanical skills, no one ever got to buy anything new. Broken toaster? Fixed. Broken 1974 MG Midget? Completely restored. He also loved building things; no challenge seemed insurmountable. Many of us have been the recipients of beautiful wood projects that Ed imagined and built. Many of us will likely spend years trying to figure out a complicated item gifted to us by Ed and adored by him because of its complexity. A celebration of life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local ASPCA. Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel is assisting the Pace family.
