Ellis Carlton Jessee of Castlewood Virginia passed away on August 9th, 2025, at the age of 75. Born February 9, 1950, the son of the late Carlos Buford Jessee and Cora Rita Lyttle Jessee.
He is survived by his wife April Louise Jessee, his wife of 56 years and his 9 children Carlos Clyde Jessee, Jason Ellis Jessee, Joseph Nathaniel Jessee, Valerie Marie Preece, Ashley Nicole Jessee, Andrea Elizabeth Conard, Katelyn Elise Amos, Alexander Thomas Jessee, and Andrew Nicholas Jessee. Ellis had 34 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Ellis Jessee was a loving and wonderful husband and father. Ellis had a long, wonderful life with the love of his life and was a hardworking man as an engineer for the city of Johnson City.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 2pm on Tuesday August 12, 2025, at Combs-Hess Funeral and Cremation Service. Then go in procession to Temple Hill Memorial Park for the committal service in the Chapel of Love Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be his sons and his best friend Eddie Wallace.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
