Virgie Lee Jones, age 81, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025
She was born February 25, 1944, in Bradshaw, West Virginia to the late Orb Mullins and the late Effie Adkins Mullins. She graduated from Iaeger High School. She worked for Cecil County, Maryland School System as a Kindergarten aide retiring in 1996. Virgie Lee loved to spend time with her family, travelling and being a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Ronald Eugene Jones; daughter, Jylane Honaker; son, Robert Jones and wife Barbara; sister, Margaret Addair; grandchildren, Jamie Stanley, Jeremy Stanley, Courtney Stanley, Marc Jones and Torrey Jones; great-grandchildren, Ally Grace Stanley, Izzy Stanley, Olivia Stanley, Wilder Lubrano, Lexi Harrison and Joel Jones.
The funeral service will be conducted at 7 pm on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 in the Combs-Hess Funeral and Cremation Service chapel with Pastor Justin Honaker officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm. The committal service will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday, October 29th at Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1999, Memphis, TN. 38101.
