Mr. Frank "Ellis" Raby, 74, has entered into the Kingdom of Heaven to meet his risen savior on October 23, 2025.
Ellis was born June 16, 1951, in Macon, County to the late Frank Edward Raby and Alice Jean Cabe Frazier.
Ellis was a woodworker most of his life, working at Liberty Wood Products for almost 30 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed helping his friends build race cars for dirt track racing. He was a man of few words unless it was something he vehemently agreed with or thought it was right.
In addition to his parents Ellis was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Ellenburg; half-brother, Melton Frazier, Jr; and his adored blue-eyed blonde-haired daughter, Amanda Lynn Raby.
Survivors include his wife, Dee Dee Raby; sons, Daniel Raby and Greg Raby (Shannon); stepdaughter, Meghan Hollis (Charles); sister, Sybil Cabe; half-sister, Shelia Frazier; grandchildren, Bailey Raby, Olivia Raby, Briana Raby, Ashley Raby, and Emily Warren (Donald); step-grandchildren, Eliana Hollis and Trey Penland; great-grandchildren, precious Lynora Warren and one on the way.
Special brothers to mention, Keith Cabe, Kyle Cabe, Billy Tilley, and Tony Lewis.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM in The Grant Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Carpenter and Rev. Gary McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgecrest Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 12:30-1:45 PM prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Cabe, Kevin Kilby, Daniel Raby, Greg Raby, Tony Lewis, and Bailey Raby; Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Cabe, Billy Tilley, and Meghan Hollis.
