Elmer (Tim) Blackburn 62, of Shelbiana, Kentucky entered into eternal rest on March 21, 2025. He was born December 31, 1962, a gift to this world and a blessing to all who knew him. He was a former employee of Wells Fargo Insurance and Lab Corp of America.
Tim was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished grandfather and a steadfast friend. His faith guided him through life and his kindness, wisdom and unwavering love for his family will remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Vickey Blackburn, his sons Jeremy (Amanda) Blackburn and Peyton Blackburn, his precious grandchildren Haleigh and Logan Blackburn, his mother Berna Blackburn, his brother Todd (Christie) Blackburn, his nieces Sara (Austin) Taylor and Hanna Blackburn and his nephew Tyler (Katie) Smith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Blackburn and his brother Michael Blackburn.
His absence will be forever felt.
Visitation will be Monday March 24, 2025, and Tuesday March 25, 2025, beginning at 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Church Services will be nightly beginning at 7:00 PM with Old Regular Ministers officiating. Funeral services will be Wednesday March 26, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Ministers officiating. Burial to follow at Hall Family Cemetery at Grethel, KY.
