Patton "Pap" Justice

Patton "PAP" Justice, of Pikeville, Age 87, passed away at his residence on Monday March 16,2026, Pap was born on June 8, 1938, to the late Emil and Tilda Damron - Justice, Pap was married to the late Beulah Slone-Justice, he was a retired coal miner, school bus driver, and he was of the freewill Baptist faith. Pap is survived by three sons, Clayton (Jerondia) Slone, Clinton (Carmen) Justice, and a special son George (Patty) Slone, two daughters, Wanda (Freddie) Brewer, and Karen Keene, one sister, Glema Thacker, seven grandchildren, Karra Tackett, Justin Slone, Josh Slone, Ben Brewer, Clint Brewer, Destiny Brewer, and Brad Keene, five great-grandchildren, Ivy Slone, Ryker Slone, Lucy Tackett, Kevin Tackett, Rylie Tackett,  and a special Son-In-Law, Will Keene.  Besides his wife and parents, Pap was preceded in death by two brothers, Gabby Justice, and Evertt Justice, two sisters, Molly Arnette and Mousie Thacker.  Pap will be missed by all who knew him and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 2026, 6pm, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, Visitation will continue on Thursday night with church services beginning at 7pm, with Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist church ministers officiating.  Funeral Service will be Friday, 1pm, at The Lucas and Son Funeral home.  Burial will follow at R.H. Ratliff cemetery of Shelbiana, Ky
