Edgar Charles "Buddy" Grubb, son of the late Ed and Ethel Reed Grubb was born at Roda, Virginia December 16, 1941. He entered eternal life Sunday, March 15, 2026 at the Pikeville Medical Center being 84 years, 2 months and 29 days of age at the time of his passing.

Buddy was a veteran of the Army 3rd infantry division and was stationed in Germany for 19 and half months. He was a member of the Neon Lions Club, Kentucky Colonels and member of the MCHC board of black lung for many years and the regular big MCHC board. He also served as the president of the veteran museum.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bernice Fields Grubbs, a son, Charles (Chuck) Ray Grubb, two grandchildren; Mike and Blaze Grubb at home, a sister, Angela Clendenon of Roda, Virginia, a brother Don (Jerri) Grubb, a sister- in law Dora Perry and husband Roscoe of Seco Kentucky and a niece, Candie Perry Looney, Brother- in laws, Jack (Connie) Fields of Deane, Kentucky, Jonnie (Judy) Fields of Gordon, Kentucky. A nephew, Matthew Grubb of Big Stone Gap Virginia and Travis Grubb of Washington DC. A very special friend; Winston Meade of Neon, Kentucky.

Buddy was preceded in death by a niece, Cheryl Clendenon.
