Betty Kincer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Everidge Funeral Home - Whitesburg on Mar. 6, 2026.
Betty Caudill Kincer entered into eternal life March 4, 2026, being 85 years, 8 months, and 4 days old at the time of her passing. She was the daughter of the late Venson and Molly Duncil Caudill. She was married to the love of her life, George M. Kincer for 67 years. George proceeded her in death on January 21, 2026, only six weeks before her. They had a once in a lifetime love, and could not live without each other.

Betty was a member of Whitesburg First Baptist Church for 63 years. She loved her Lord and her church family. She was famous for her friendship bread that she shared with the community during times of sickness, sadness, or just a gesture of love. If you knew Betty, chances are you have received a card from her with a note inside. She remembered everyone's birthday, and in her lifetime she probably sent thousands of Christmas cards. Betty never met a stranger, and if you had the good fortune to know her, you loved her.

Betty leaves behind her three children: Tammy Kincer Fugate, Stephen (Mitzi) Kincer, and Stephanie Kincer Stidham. She also leaves behind one brother, Bill (Diane) Caudill. The joy of her life was her five grandchildren: Kristen Yost, Megan (Randall) Gibson, Tessa (Josh) Caudill, Destin (Forrest) Smith, and Dylan Kincer. She also had seven beautiful great-grandchildren, who will miss her always: Olivia, Maci, Molly, Miley, Rylan, Velle, and Kent. Betty was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Jay and Trish Rice.

Betty's life truly exemplified Proverbs 31, a virtuous woman, far more precious than rubies, compassionate, faithful, and prayerful. She loved and feared the Lord, and her bold example of faith impacted countless souls. She will forever be missed, but is now reunited with her husband, and worshipping at the feet of Jesus.
