Elmer Locsei Obituary
Mr. Locsei passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
Born Nov. 15, 1924, in Cleveland, he had grown up in Cleveland, but lived the majority of his life in Lake County.
Elmer was a U.S. Navy veteran and a a founding member of the Chagrin River Yacht Club, where he was a Past Commodore. He was also a member of the Blue Gavel and the Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Locsei was the owner/operator of Low-Sea's Window Cleaning Company. He had also worked as an electrician for Local 33 for over 40 years.
He was the loving father of Dennis Locsei Sr. of Eastlake, Kenneth (Susan) Locsei Sr. of Willoughby and Sandy (John) Balanik of Concord Township; cherished grandfather of Nichole Balanik, Carrie Balanik, Amanda Balanik, Dennis Locsei Jr., Dawn Huber, Melissa McArthur and Kenny Locsei Jr.; great-grandfather of seven; and brother of Ernie Locsei of Maine.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gertrude (nee Loucks) Locsei in 1987; parents, Charles and Elizabeth (nee Lini) Locsei; and sister, Irene Svoboda.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Whitehaven Memorial Park in Mayfield Village.

What a wonderful friend for the last 44 years!!! Locsei's, Bailey's, Sopko's, Virant's ,my Pezdir family and many many more all have such fun stories to share dating back to when CRYC was CBC!!! (Chagrin Boat Club) Thank u to all of u for such wonderful memories!! u hold a very special place in my heart!!! God Bless Elmer and his family!!!

What I am feeling right now is hard to put onto words......remembering Elmer the first time I meet him 30+ years ago, smiling, laughing, always ready with a joke and that same man several weeks ago @ 89, making the best of his infirmities. I have loved him as a father-in-law and he will always remain in my heart. Praying for all of the family to grow strong together in your days of sorrow. Lovingly...
