The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Elmer Edward Stalnaker.

Mr. Ed Stalnaker, age 80 of Allensville, passed away on Saturday, June 28th at his home.

Ed was born April 3, 1945 in Parkersburg, West Virginia son of the late Rada Rhodes Stalnaker.

He was a member of Elkton Baptist Church and the American Legion in Russellville. He was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force, graduated from auto diesel college and was a retired school bus driver for the Todd County School system. He loved his family and his two fur babies, Milly and Lucy.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rich Stalnaker. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kathy Stalnaker of Allensville; two daughters, Lisa Long (Cory) and Rachel Lee both of Allensville; four grandchildren, Kelsey Foster (Jeremy), Charlie Gibbner, Brianna Flores (Jonathan) and Kayla Long and four great grandchildren. Also surviving is a special nephew, Richard Stalnaker (Angela).

Visitation with the Stalnaker family will be on Thursday, July 3rd from 10:30 until funeral service time at 11:30 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Cummings officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Pennyroyal Hospice or Elkton Baptist Church.
