Eloísa Esther Torres Barrios, age 90, of Miami, Florida, passed away on January 19, 2026, in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

She was born on January 20, 1936, to her mother, Julia Ospino. Eloísa lived a life defined by hard work, faith, and deep devotion to her family. She worked as a factory worker and homemaker, roles she carried out with strength, dignity, and unwavering

dedication.

A faithful Catholic, Eloísa was a woman of strong character, kindness, and generosity. She was known for her warm heart, her great sense of humor, and her unforgettable laughter that filled any room she entered. Cooking and gardening were her passions, and her kitchen was always a place of welcome-she famously cooked extra meals in case a surprise guest arrived.

Eloísa is survived by her loving husband, Miguel Antonio Torres; her children and their families: Miguel Torres Jr. and Rosario Linero Torres; Jenny and Ricardo Gloria; Jacqueline and Edwin Gonzalez; Miss Damaris Torres; and Monica and Jeff Oldfield. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Daniel and David Torres; Yamile and Christine Cox; Eddie Fanning; and Aidan and Alexi Oldfield. And her great-grandchildren: Isabel Torres; Addie Torres; Olivia and Luna Cox.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Ospino.

Viewing and burial services will be held for family and loved ones. Eloísa's life of faith, love, and generosity will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
