Richard Plumer II

1948 - 2026

Richard Plumer II, 77, was found deceased on Saturday morning, February 14, 2026. Born October 9, 1948, he attended Miami Palmetto High School, Phillips Exeter Academy, and held a Bachelor's degree from the Religion and Philosophy Department at Florida International University. Richard is preceded in death by his sister Penny, his brother Christopher, his father Richard B. Plumer, and his mother, Mary Caldwell Plumer. He is survived by his sister, Patience Plumer Flick, his brother-in-law, Charles Flick, his nieces Penny and Bonnie, and his nephew, Willis, along with his dear friends, Tom and John. A small memorial & reception will take place on Wednesday, February 18th from 4:30-7pm at 8420 Schoolhouse Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sunrise Group (https://sunrisegroup.org/donate/), an organization dedicated to serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
