Joy Diane Campbell

Joy Diane Campbell, age 81, of Alford, Florida, passed away on February 15, 2026. Born in Eagle Rock, Pennsylvania on August 5, 1944, to the late Bernice and Lila Sparks Ouzts, Joy's journey began with a move to Miami when she was just two weeks old, marking the start of a life full of vitality and service to others.
Joy will forever be remembered for her caring nature, unwavering kindness, and the joy she brought to people's lives. She was the cherished wife of Robert Campbell; her devoted partner for 60 years, and the loving mother to her four children, Joy Keel (Joshua), Robert (Nikki), Phillip Wayne (Eva), and Shawn Lee. Joy's legacy continues through her many grandchildren, Christopher Disalvo (Kristy), Aaron Disalvo, Ashley Disalvo, Mary Hicks (Dylon), Matthew Campbell (Alana), Joy Thalia Pantoja (Chase), Layla Keel, Chaz Denny, Nicole Campbell, Phillip Campbell, Jr., Taylor Campbell (Joyce), Shawn Campbell, Jr., Gage Campbell, Noah Keel and Mason Keel; great-grandchildren, Adyson, Elle, Iris, Justice, Emsley, Dekota, Damian, Gabriel, Nyx, Freyja, Aubrey, Elaina, Eliza, Miguel, Lyra, Romeo, and Link; and special friends, Darlene Clement.
Joy's education began at Horace Mann Jr. High before she attended Eddison and Central High School. Joy had many professional accomplishments in life, but it was the role of raising her children that Joy considered her most significant accomplishment. In 1998, she and her family moved to Jackson County and settled in Alford, where they were warmly welcomed and became integral members of the community.
Beyond her dedication to family and work, Joy pursued many passions with enthusiasm. A remarkable woman with a zest for life, she loved dancing, cooking, and channeling her creativity into making beautiful statuettes that were displayed through her business, "Flamingo Rose". Joy was also a compassionate advocate for those in need, exemplifying her generous spirit in both word and deed. As an avid animal lover, she shared her home and heart with many cherished pets throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

A funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. (EST) Monday, February 23, 2026 in the Tallahassee National Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
