Elouise B. Collins, 88, of Tallahassee, FL passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lannis Stephens officiating the service. Family will receive friends immediately after the service.
Mrs. Elouise was born on Monday, April 27, 1936 in Blountstown, FL. The daughter of the late Jessee F. Barwick, and the late Laura Mae (Monday) Barwick. She was one of their eighteen children. She was a homemaker and a “Super Mom”. She was the mother of six children, which she raised on her own. She was a dedicated mother that made sure her children never went without. She was a member of Concord’s Victory Assembly of God Church. She loved Southern Gospel Music, with just a little touch of Bluegrass. Her family was large but she knew and loved each one of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was highly respected by them all.
She is survived by her children; Rhonda Alday, William F. Edenfield, Edward Earl Edenfield, Rick Edenfield, and Louis Preston Edenfield; two brothers Larry Barwick and Jack Barwick; two sisters Doris Atkins and Hazel Carnley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Brenda Cole.
