Mr Morand enjoyed his Zero, Zero, Zero. He allowed those of us that passed his pop quiz to watch a Michael Jackson/Jackson 5 concert as final exam. Very memorable.

Your class was tough, but you made it memorable. You taught me more than just anatomy and physiology - you taught me discipline, accountability, and that you can´t half-step your way through life. I still hear your voice in my head when I´m tempted to slack off.
Thank you for pushing us, for keeping it real, and for being unapologetically you. You´re definitely missed, and your impact didn´t stop at the classroom door.
Rest in eternal peace.

Wow! This one hurts. He is one of the reasons I love science and majored in Biology. He is also one of the big reasons I teach high school biology. Omg, I remember he said he was going to give me 7 F's because I didn't want to stop dissecting the woodrat in class. He said " Nancy, am going to give you one for you mama, daddy, cat ,dog, etc."
I will always be grateful for him.
My prayers and love are with the family and friends.

We certainly lost a great one! Rest easy, Mr. Morand. I will always cherish the memories of my time in your Anatomy & Physiology class. One of the BEST classes of my high school years! You went on to also teach my sisters, calling them, "Lil Tish". Drove them crazy but I loved it! :) Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. Now, don't fall off that horse while riding high up there in heaven. <3

My deepest condolences to Mr. Morand´s family.
As an educator myself, I truly appreciate the educator Mr. Morand was. He was simply the best Eastside had. He made you feel seen, heard, and cared about. He had the type of impact that many are expressing. An impact that has stayed with me long after graduating from EHS in 1990. He made me want to be the kind of teacher who sees my students beyond a single circumstance. He cared about you inside and outside of the classroom. I am glad he was my teacher, and I will never forget the great man and educator that he was to hundreds of students and me. Rest in peace, Mr. Morand.

Heartfelt condolences to the Morand Family on the passing of a true hero to so many. He represented excellence in every field of his endeavor. A superb teacher, an inspiring leader, a compassionate humanitarian, and an extraordinary athlete-his impact was both profound and far-reaching.
His brilliance and academic acumen will never be forgotten, nor will the lives he touched through his service and dedication. He lived a life of purpose, honor, and distinction.
May our ancestors embrace him as he is welcomed home, for he served faithfully here on earth and made them proud. We extend our deepest prayers and sincerest condolences to the family. Until we meet again on the other side.
