Elroy Ray Toedebusch passed away at his home on October 21, 2025 at the age of 81.
Elroy was born December 26, 1943, son of Raymond and Rosa Toedebusch. On August 8, 1964, Elroy married his beloved wife, Judy, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wentzville, Missouri. Elroy was a lifelong and devoted member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he worshiped and served for many years.
A talented and hardworking mechanic, Elroy spent his career repairing and maintaining equipment with care and skill. In addition to his full-time work, he was also a part-time farmer who enjoyed the peace and purpose of working the land. He had a deep appreciation for tractors and was a proud charter member of the Missouri Allis-Chalmers Tractor Club, where he found joy in preserving and celebrating farming heritage.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judith "Judy" Toedebusch nee Callahan of Wentzville, Missouri; his two children, Nancy (Clif) Orf and Mike Toedebusch; sister, Iona Toedebusch; grandchildren, Katie Akin, Justin Akin, Kylie Toedebusch, Kelsey Toedebusch, and Jesse Akin; great-grandchildren, Autumn Marshall and Aurora Gibson; nephew, Dan Lawson; niece, Michelle Lawson; and sister-in-law, Ruth (Jack) Lawson. He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Toedebusch, mother, Rosa Toedebusch nee Kammeier, and infant daughter, Karen Marie Toedebusch.
Elroy was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother, and friend to many. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
