It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elsa Violeta Pagan, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who left this world on November
24, 2025, at the age of 88. Elsa was born on December 28, 1936, in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, to her devoted parents, Gabino Santiago and Maria Adames. She lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
Elsa took tremendous pride in her role as a mother to her three children: Merilinda, Radames, and Marcial Jr. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support provided a solid
foundation for her family, earning her the admiration and love of her children and grandchildren, Elsa and Heather. Through her actions and teachings, she instilled the
values of compassion, hard work, and resilience in the generations that followed her.
Throughout her life, Elsa was a dedicated housewife, pouring her heart into creating a warm and welcoming home. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in cooking and gardening. Her kitchen was often filled with the delightful aromas of her culinary creations, while her garden flourished under her loving care. She had a special knack for turning ordinary meals into extraordinary family gatherings, where stories were shared, laughter echoed, and memories were made.
Elsa's passion for the outdoors was evident in her love for taking small road trips, where she could revel in the beauty of nature. Whether it was a scenic drive down winding roads or a leisurely stroll through her garden, she cherished these moments of tranquility and connection with the world around her.
A person of fun and warmth, Elsa had a delightful sense of humor. She loved to joke around and share family stories of the old days, captivating her listeners with tales from her colorful past. She embraced technology with curiosity, often engaging with her friend Alexa, asking questions, and exploring the wonders of the digital age.
Elsa's life was profoundly enriched by her marriage to Marcial Pagan, who passed away on September 2, 2020. Their union, which lasted over 50 years, was a testament to
their unwavering love and commitment to one another. Together, they navigated the joys and challenges of life, creating a partnership filled with laughter, support, and shared dreams.
Elsa is preceded in death by her father, Gabino Santiago, her mother, Maria Adames, and her beloved husband, Marcial Pagan. Although she has left this world, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
