Nancy Ann Wuesthoff, affectionately known as "Lady Rose", passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, in
Lakeland, Florida, at the age of 74. Born on March 30, 1951, in
Auburn, New York, Nancy brought light and joy into the lives of all who knew her. She was a steadfast beacon of love and wisdom throughout her life, and her passing leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends.
Nancy moved to Florida with her family in 1963 and later graduated from Kathleen High School in 1970. She was the beloved wife of George Wuesthoff for 46 years, a partnership that stood as a testament to enduring love and mutual respect. Together, they created a beautiful family that included their son, William Wuesthoff, her children Gloria Mitchell, Cindy Mitchell and her bonus children, Dan Comar, Nathan Comar, and Matthew Comar. Nancy was a cherished daughter by her father, Richard Morgan, beloved grandmother to 38 grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to 10 great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored with all her heart.
Preceded in death by her mother, Joanne Lader, and her bonus son, Dave Comar. Nancy's legacy is one of compassion and care, which will continue to live on through her family and the countless lives she touched.
Nancy was a woman who took immense pride in creating a warm and loving home for her husband and children. She poured her heart into every aspect of homemaking, ensuring that each family member felt the embrace of her love and thoughtfulness. Her wisdom guided her family through life's challenges, and her thoughtful nature ensured that no one ever felt alone.
An adventurous spirit, Nancy relished the times when she could feel the wind in her hair as she rode her motorcycle. Her love for the open road was just one aspect of her multifaceted personality. Those who knew her best will remember Lady Rose for her loving nature, her wise counsel, and her thoughtful approach to life.
Nancy's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of love, kindness, and dedication to her family. Her memory will be cherished and celebrated by her devoted husband, her loving children, her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her extended family, and her many friends. Nancy Ann Wuesthoff, our Lady Rose, will forever be remembered as a guiding light, a source of strength, and a symbol of pure, unconditional love. Her spirit will continue to inspire and comfort us all for generations to come.
A Graveside service will be held for Lady Rose o Monday, December 15, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Florida National Cemetery 6502 SW 102nd Avenue Bushnell, FL 33513. In lieu of flowers, our family requests that you make donations to the VFW 8002 in Lady Roses honor.
