Max Lemar Wuesthoff

Max L. Wuesthoff, born on August 10, 1935, in Oakland, California, passed away peacefully on his 90th birthday, August 10, 2025, in Biloxi. A dedicated father and proud military veteran, Max served honorably in the United States Air Force as an Air Policeman, a role that exemplified his commitment to serving his country. After his service, he transitioned into a varied career, working at notable places such as Stennis Space Center and Casino Magic before his retirement. Max graduated from Almeda High School and, shortly thereafter, enlisted in the Air Force, where he began a journey marked by both dedication and pride in his work. Beyond his professional endeavors, he had a passion for airplanes and trains, often finding joy and excitement in these interests. He was known among friends and family for his love of visiting the casino, where he enjoyed both the thrill of the games and the company of fellow enthusiasts. He is survived by his daughter Lori Armstrong, one granddaughter, and six great-grandchildren, who will carry on his memory. Max’s life was enriched by his relationships, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience. Max is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Marion Wuesthoff; his first wife, Allie Garriga; his second wife, Rose Nelson; his son, Mike Wuesthoff; and his grandson, Michael Armstrong. Each of these individuals contributed to the fabric of his life, and together they shaped the man he became. As a father, soldier, and friend, Max Wuesthoff will be remembered for his unwavering spirit, his love for his family, and his dedication to his country. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by those whose lives he touched during his remarkable journey.
