Elsie Nichols Ferrell

Elsie Nichols Ferrell of South Boston passed away September 17, 2024 at the blessed age of 100. She was born in Halifax County, VA on July 12, 1924 to the late Abraham Vincent Nichols and the late Annie Florine Crenshaw Nichols. She was married to the late Jesse Sam Ferrell.

 She was a member of Rodgers Chapel Baptist Church. Elsie enjoyed tending to her flowers, sewing, reading, cooking and playing the game Scrabble with her friends.

 A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Rodgers Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Aubrey Heath officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
