Elsie K Howard

Elsie K. Howard took her last breath, in the comfort of her own home, on the last day of 2022, just 17 days before her 82nd birthday. Better known as Ann to friends, and Annie to relatives, she would keep just enough to get by while blessing others with constant generosity. Although health issues gave her many challenges to overcome over the last 20 years, her amazing will to survive and thrive was a testimony to her faith in God's goodness.
Elsie never remarried after the death of her husband Jim, who predeceased her by 35 years. She is survived by her 5 children; Gary Howard, Cheryl (Lee) Bourgoin, Paula Dickerson, Timothy (Grace) Howard, and David Howard. She loved being Nana to 4 grandsons: Michael Dickerson, Matthew Dickerson (preceded in death), Jeremy (Julia) Schiewe, and Jesse (Paty) Schiewe. She was Super Nana to Gevin Dickerson, Eliana Schiewe, Diego Schiewe, and Emelyn Schiewe.
To honor our mom's memory, we are holding a celebration of life, or memorial, on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Agape Church, 5600 Burkburnett Rd, in Wichita Falls, at 2:00 P.M. and friends and relatives are welcome.
