Michael S Smith

Michael was born on August 4, 1953 in Nashville, TN to the late Wilma Wickham and Hughes Smith. He passed away in Wichita Falls, TX on Thursday, February 5, 2026. He lived in Tennessee and Missouri before settling in Wichita Falls with his Mother and Step-father, William Wickham in 1966.

On July 26, 1985 Michael wed Yolanda and together they shared two daughters. Michael enjoyed bringing laughter and fun to any room he walked into. He was always a jokester and wanted to make people happy. He was a member of the Clown Around Association in the late 80s and early 90s. He loved to skate, a hobby he passed down to his daughters. Michael loved to take his girls to the local skating rink on the weekends and skate alongside them. He enjoyed taking his Grandson fishing and spending time with him until he started school. He loved to sing
songs with his Granddaughter. His proudest accomplishments were his two girls and grandkids. No matter what he always made time and made sure they were taken care of.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Yolanda, daughter Kimberly Marino and husband Will of Chireno, TX, daughter Kayla Smith of Wichita Falls, sister Marquetta Dudley of Wichita Falls,TX, brother Anthony Smith of Grand Saline, TX, grandkids Cash Davis, Callynn Marino, and Sonny Marino, all of Chireno TX, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Wilma Wickham, Hughes Smith, and Stepfather
William Wickham.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Wichita Falls Hospice. Cremation arrangements are being made under the direction of Falls Funeral Home.
