Gregory Maurice Easter, 59, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, after years of declining health.

Born January 1, 1967, in San Antonio, Texas, to Rev. George and Mary Easter, Greg lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service. His Christian journey began early alongside his father, and he continued to grow in faith throughout his life, treasuring his Bible deeply.

Greg proudly served in the United States Air Force as an Information Systems Operations Specialist and later built a diverse career marked by dedication and hard work. Affectionately known as Chef Maurice, he was especially passionate about cooking and took great joy in sharing his culinary creations with loved ones. He also enjoyed music, sports, martial arts, and was fluent in Spanish, French, and American Sign Language.

Known as the oldest sibling and a natural protector, Greg embraced his role with love and humor. He leaves cherished memories with his mother Mary; daughter Gabrielle; sister Marva; brothers Gerald, Geoffrey, and Gary; and a large, loving extended family including nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, dear friends, and longtime family friends, the Delgados.

Greg will be remembered for his faith, warmth, talents, and the love he poured into everyone blessed to know him.
