Thomas Allen Finley

Thomas Allen Finley (Tommy), a devoted family patriarch, mentor, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026. He was born on April 13, 1951, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Clinton Finley Sr. and Jewell Denny.

Tommy dedicated 30 years of his life to civil service, serving with pride and integrity. He worked 27 years at Sheppard AFB and three years at Little Rock AFB, where he retired in 2012 as an Electrical Foreman. His work ethic, leadership, and commitment to excellence left a lasting impact on everyone who worked alongside him.

Beyond his career, Tommy was a legendary local musician for over 60 years. Music was the language of his soul, and through it he brought people together, filled rooms with joy, and created memories that will live on for generations. He was also known as a sportsman, athlete, and entertainer – always full of life, laughter, and stories.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton Finley Sr. and Jewell Denny; his brothers, Ronnie and Clinton; and his beloved daughter, Crystal.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Barbara; four daughters, Samantha, Alecia, Sonya, and Stephanie (husband Nino); seven grandsons, Zane, Adrian (wife Wynter), Ashton, Jantzen, Eyan, Korbin, and Kylan; two great grandsons, Royal and Everest; two brothers, David and Kerry (wife Becky); and many nieces and nephews.

Above all, Tommy was a loving husband, father, and Papaw. His love was steady, his guidance unwavering, and his presence a blessing to all who knew him. He taught his family the value of faith, hard work, kindness, and staying true to who you are.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing he is now rejoicing in Heaven, reunited with loved ones who went before him, and watching over the family he cherished so deeply.
