Butch, a son of the late Elston E. and Margaret (Fohr) Woolf, Sr., was born in New Jersey. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa A. Allen; two brothers, Charles E. Woolf, husband of Brenda and David B. Woolf, husband of Ruth; a sister, Eileen S., wife of Charles E. Koenig; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a step grandchild; a step great grandchild; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael D. Woolf; and a son-in-law, Ryan Allen.
He was a former member of Strausstown Rod & Gun Club.
He was a US Army Veteran, having retired after 20 years of service.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, Dec. 6th, at Hill Funeral Home, 111 Godfrey St., Rehrersburg. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM, Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Salem Reformed Cemetery with Nancy Pannag, his former wife. Online condolences may be made at www.lammandwitman.com.
