Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bosak Funeral Home - Stamford on Jan. 22, 2026.
Patricia Ann Woolf, "Patty", passed away suddenly on Friday, January 16, 2026. She was born in Stamford, CT on Valentine's Day, 1954, to Vincent and Phyllis Melsopp.

Patty is survived by her husband of 33 years, Lawrence Woolf, "Lem". She is also survived by her brothers, Michael "Mike" and David "Dave" Melsopp. She also leaves behind her cousin, and goddaughter, Linda Bennett, and her two nieces, also goddaughters, Alissa and Amber Melsopp. Also surviving are Dave's wife, Lori (Angotto) Melsopp and Mike's life partner, Christine Quarre.

She was predeceased by her beloved parents, her grandfather, Sylvester Bartnick, "Pop", her sister-in-law, Deb Martino, and her uncle and aunt, John and Veronica "Ron" Bennett.

Patty was devoted to her family, gifted with a great sense of humor and was very quick to laugh, especially at herself. She was a graduate of St. Cecilia School and Stamford Catholic High School. She attended Harriman College and the University of Connecticut. She enjoyed a number of positions including finishing her career as a managing supervisor at Swiss Reinsurance. The last years of her life were happily spent with her friends and family, who she was constantly communicating with and visiting with right up to the end.

She will be missed by a great many people, her family, friends and associates.

Patty, even though you left us, we'll warmly remember you in our hearts and prayers.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm on Wednesday, January 28th, at Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT. A Prayer Service will follow at 7pm at the funeral home.
