Obituary of Elwood C Martz Sr.

Elwood Martz Sr. of Pennsauken, formerly of Camden, passed peacefully on September 18, 2025 at 82 years.

Beloved husband of the late Sandra Elwood or 60 years; Devoted father of Edward (Melissa Candelaria), Elwood "Duke"

Martz (Allison), Shawn "Shawnee" Martz, Anna Martz (Michael Walter) Paul Martz (Paula Preston) and Charles "Chad"

Martz; Cherished grandfather of Eddie, Gabriel, Nicholas, Ryan, Avery, Ella and Ashton; Also survived by many loving

nieces and nephews.

Elwood enjoyed his career in truck driving and worked for Predco Trucking. He raised with his cherished wife, his

family in Camden, where he loved tending to his vegetable garden and taking care of his pool. He was a soft-spoken

yet reserved man, known for his generosity and compassion towards those around him. His children will remember him

for being an unwavering support and a kind-hearted father, always there to lend a helping hand or offer words of

encouragement. Elwood's nurturing spirit and dedication to family will leave a lasting legacy, as he taught them the

importance of hard work, kindness, and community. His gentle demeanor and willingness to share his time and

resources made him a beloved figure in their lives, fostering cherished memories that will be passed down through

generations.He was an incredible father and role model and he also cared deeply for his neighbors.

Relatives & friends are invited to the Memorial Service on Tuesday at 11 AM at Falco Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home,

6600 Browning Road in Pennsauken.

Burial of cremains will take place privately at a later date at Morgan Cemetery in Cinnaminson
