Elwyn was a friend and colleague to me. He was well liked and he liked to be involved with people. His life was important to the thousands of people he was able to serve as an insurance agent. Elwyn was active in local activities and served a the Mayor of Blairstown. We were friends for the last 35 years of his life during which I spent time fishing with him in Lake Ontario for Walleye's and that was a great time. As the year's passed and our visits were often limited to a holiday dinner at the St.Moritz the feeling of friendship and the fellowship never waned. Elwyn had the ability to make you feel close and I will miss him.
God Bless and thank you for being a man that was a positive influence for many people whose lives were touched by you.

We are so sorry to hear of Elwyn's passing.
He was always very kind to us. He encouraged me in my time with Prudential and helped us out very much by providing a free storage space for our furniture when we moved back from Florida. He was Judy's school bus driver in high school. We considered him a friend and will miss him.

Over the past few years, I have only seen them in my ambulance! Elwyn and I would talk of the old days with my dad and grandfather . . . I really enjoyed reconnecting. I am sorry to hear of his passing and wish to convey what a looss this us to many of us. I am so sorry I am unable to join you all tomorrow, I am honored to have known him all of these years.
