Elwyn "Dale" Ridner, 62, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on January 19, 1963 to the late Johnny and Ada (Sears) Ridner in Colo, Kentucky. Dale was the family hero and fixer of everything. He enjoyed traveling, drag racing, and working on cars, anything with a steering wheel and wheels. He worked for many years as a truck driver/tow operator.
Dale is survived by his wife, Della (Wesley) Ridner, whom he married on August 29, 1997; his children, Jessica Molen, Angela Ridner, Jonathon & Ashley Ridner, Mitchell & Lisa Wesley, Timothy Ridner, and Adam & Billie Beckerich; his grandchildren, Gracy (Josh) Whitter, Bryan Cook, Andrew Ridner, Keelah Ridner, Savannah Wesley, Addison Wesley, Michael Wesley, Cheyenne Taylor, Skylar Godsey, Isaiah Godsey, Jayden Beckerich, Jonathon Beckerich, Karley Beckerich, Audrey Beckerich, and Amelia Beckerich; his great-grandchildren, Paisley and Luka Whitter, Addie Godsey, Nathanial, Mason, Jeremiah, and Zayden; his sister, Elva Kirkpatrick; his brothers, Sherman (Kathy) Meece, Mike (Vicky) Meece, Robert (Linda) Burchfield, and Jerry Sears; mother-in-law, Faye Wesley; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Adrian Lyon and Noel Davis; and a special child, Susie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a special mom, Martha Ridner; a grandson, Michael Godsey; sisters, Priscilla Hood and Josephine Anderson; brother, James Burchfield; father-in-law, Lawrence "Buck" Wesley; brother-in-law, Phil Kirkpatrick; and sisters-in-law, Ona Sears and Charolette Burchfield.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Bro. Raymond Ridner and Bro. Jeff Lockard officiating at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at Sardis Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time for services.
