McCreary County Funeral Home - Whitley CityManuel “Coo” Ridner, age 66, passed away Nov. 2, 2025, at his home in Parkers Lake, Kentucky.
He was born in Honeybee, Kentucky, on January 17, 1959, the son of the late Earl and Elizabeth (Hicks) Ridner. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by five brothers: Clayton, Clinton, Clifton, James and George Ridner and sisters Mary Jean Rollins, Terry Jones, Gladys Head and Donna Sue Ridner,
Surviving family include his wife, Patricia Ridner of Parkers Lake, a son; Basil Ridner of Parkers Lake a daughter; Toni of Casey County, Kentucky and a daughter; Beverly Hurd of Parkers Lake and several grandchildren including a step granddaughter Ariel Troxell. Surviving brother is Doyle Ray Ridner and sisters; Shirley Agrabright, Dora Stanton, Zona Campbell, and Pauline Caldwell.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Pleasant Knob United Baptist Church with burial to follow at the Pleasant Knob Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time for funeral services.
McCreary County Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements for Manuel Ridner.
