The family of Elynda Coburn sadly announces her passing on October 12, 2025.
Elynda is survived by her brother, A. Dennis Merrill (Carolyn) of Fairfield Glade, TN, and sister, Carolyn Williamson of Joplin, MO. Also surviving are nieces Autumn Merrill of Lebanon, TN, Tracy Batalon, and Tyanne Kelly of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by several cousins in the El Reno, OK, and TN area.
Elynda was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert Coburn, and parents Alvis & Bertie (Wilds) Merrill of El Cajon, CA.
Elynda taught school for many years in CA and the Yukon, OK area. She was an accomplished musician and loved her family and her horses.
At Elynda's request, there will be no formal funeral service. Her family will hold a private scattering of ashes at a later date.
