Emaline “Emily” Malbroux, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on July 18, 1940 in Lawtell, Louisiana to parents Edward and Bernadette Weatherall, she was a beacon of light, faith, and strength to everyone who knew her.
She devoted her life to her family, often filling her home with laughter, warmth, and prayers. Known for her feisty personality, she left an indelible mark on the hearts of her children. She was a devoted daughter, sister, and aunt, but her greatest joy was simply being a mother.
Emaline is survived by her children, Debra Miller (Louis Miller), Bline Viney, Casey Biagas (Dawn Biagas), Timothy Biagas, and Denise Fisher; her cherished 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings John Weatherall Sr. (Mildred Weatherall), Robert Weatherall, and Barbara W. Papion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Bernadette Weatherall; her daughters Annette Biagas and Judy Clark; and her brothers Sylvester, Charles, and Paul Weatherall. A celebration of her life will be held at St. Margaret Catholic Church on February 7, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am at True Light Baptist Church at 1518 Gerstner Memorial Drive. A rosary will be recited at 11:00am. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King’s Funeral Home.
She will be profoundly missed, but her love will live on forever.
