Emerick Lee Moczygemba

Emerick Lee Moczygemba, 76, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on March 6, 2026 in San Antonio, TX. He was born in Floresville to Isadore A. Moczygemba and Pelagia Kowalik Moczygemba on November 5, 1949. Emerick attended school and graduated from Poth, joining the Air Force shortly after graduation. He met the love of his life, Brenda Giesalhart, and together they built a beautiful life, raising two daughters and watching their family grow with pride and joy.

Emerick was a retired Air Force Technical Sergeant (TSgt), and his conversations often reflected the deep pride he felt in serving his country. He was known for his passion for restoring classic cars, and he cherished time spent with family, especially his beloved grandchildren. Emerick's greatest joy was his family, and he was always happiest surrounded by those he loved.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Daniel N. Giesalhart and Joann Schunka Giesalhart.

Those left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy include his beloved wife, Brenda Moczygemba; his daughters, Melanie Gomez (Damian) and Shannon Hartman (Armando Chavez); his grandchildren, Addison Hartman, Pearl Gomez, and Dominick Gomez; his siblings, Geralyn Gray (Sammy), Lambert Moczygemba (Betty), and Brenda A. Moczygemba; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Poth. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, the Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM, and the Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery.
