He began his career as an Adult Corrections Officer at the Maui Community Correctional Center and later served as a Parole Officer with the Hawai'i Paroling Authority, where he retired. Throughout his career, Emerson's work reflected his deep sense of responsibility. Beyond his work, Emerson found great joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing, diving, following sports and taking part in fantasy football. More than anything, he treasured his time with family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lili Ramelb; children, Andres J. Ramelb, Sherilynn Ramelb, Brielle Ramelb; sister, Elsie Brink and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Andres Ramelb, his mother, Remy Ramelb, and sister, Gloria Ramelb. A service will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 9am-12pm.
