Emil M. Ruffolo, 78, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025. Emil was born on December 3, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. Emil spent most of his early years in Norridge where he met the love of his life, Judith and spent 60 wonderful years together, married for 56 years.
Emil spent his entire career working at Three Star Manufacturing as a Tool and Die Maker/Production Manager. He was always a perfectionist and made sure everything had its place. Emil loved sports and all Chicago sports teams but none as important as the Chicago Cubs. He even attended a World Series game in 2016 with his son and nephew, one of his favorite memories. Emil was able to attend games with his granddaughters to keep the Cubs fever going in future generations. Emil loved spending time with his family and friends and was the first one to have a sarcastic comment or witty joke. In the warmer months, you could find Emil on the golf course once or twice a week enjoying time with his friends or having breakfast with them if the weather didn’t cooperate.
Emil leaves behind his loving wife, Judith, his daughter Jennifer and his son Christopher. He also leaves behind his adoring granddaughters, Kendall and Garrett Ruffolo, his sisters, Carolyn (Richard) Vena and Janet (the late James) Pastorello as well as many nieces and nephews. Emil also leaves his faithful little buddy Oliver, who misses him terribly every day. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Emil and Theresa Ruffolo, his in-laws, John and Clara Giampa and his best friends, Bill and Joyce Keith.
Cremation will take place at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapel. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
