Emily and I were fast friends from the time we met at Mary Baldwin College. back in the 40s.. She was always full of pep and enthusiasm for whatever we were into. We had many adventures visiting with one another and our families in many places. over the years. She and Sam were treasured friends. I was proud of my "Lady Marine" friend which she was called in those days. What a gal! Move over Heaven. Make way for the best!
