Emily Hoffman Obituary
Emily was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 20th, 1952 to Woodrow Wilson Wofford and Bessie Kathleen (Bradley) Wofford. She spent over 20 years as a medical coder with Watson Clinic in Lakeland Fl. Before that was a supportive Air Force Spouse for 20 years to her husband William Carl Hoffman III (Bill). They were married for 39 beautiful years.
Emily was preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Wilson Wofford, her mother Bessie Kathleen Wofford, her Brother, James Cecil Wofford, her son William Carl Hoffman IV and her beloved husband William Carl Hoffman III. She is survived by her brothers Aaron Wofford, Paul Wofford (Inez); her sister Angela Bass. She is also survived by her Son Timothy Charles Hoffman (Carolyn), and beloved Daughter in law Christi Hoffman. She was a proud grandmother to her grandson Nathanael Charles Hoffman and granddaughter Teslyn Elizabeth Hoffman.
A kind and soft-spoken woman with a uniquely wonderful heart and sense of generosity and compassion, Emily had a kind presence that made all who spent time with her feel a sense of comfort and joy. Was a vibrant source of joy and happiness in any setting she encountered.
Emily's greatest legacy lives on through what she taught her Sons and grandchildren -How to love each other without judgement and always keep their hearts and eyes pointed towards the lord. To work steadfastly in service of those around you and be a light for the world as best you can.
Emily will be deeply missed.
