Emily Rose McGuire, age 79, passed away on July 10, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Spencer, TN.

She was born July 21, 1944 to Clifford Arthur and Helen Rose Bechtel in Glenn Robbins, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Powell McGuire; brothers, Arthur William Bechtel, Carey Robert Bechtel, Clifford Bechtel.

She is survived by her children, Dale (Pamela) Maxwell of Walaska, Ga, Gail Lynn Denton of Spencer, Cathy (Tim) Maynard of Quebeck, and Mark (Tonya) Maxwell of Sparta; step-children, Steven McGuire of Geneva, Ohio and Tammy McGuire of Ohio; grandchildren, Blake Maxwell, Jason Maxwell, Elijah Nash, Janie Nash, Savannah Nash, Ashley Maynard, Danielle Smith, Jacqueline VanWinkle, William Albert Cotten, Emily Gail Butler; great grandchildren, Dondre Alexander Meek, Cierra Dawn Calfy, Gemma Sky Cotten, Jonnie Sue Cotten, Tyler Richard Cotten, Serenity Lynn Butler, Harley Faith Butler, Skylar Grace Butler, Conner Samford, Sicely Nash, Ormhel Mindo, LynnLeigh Masters, Denver Clifton, Asher Smith, Azel Smith, Stephen VanWinkle, Mabel VanWinkle; brothers, Max Bechtel, Richard Bechtel, Joey Bechtel, Jerry Bechtel; sisters, Ellen Gowins, Miriam Shillinger, Helen Ann Bergquist; also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements:

Funeral services will be held at Thurman Funeral Home, Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 3 p.m., officiating will be Bro. Doug Cunningham. Interment Anderson Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Thurman Funeral Home, Sunday, July 14, 2024 starting at 1 p.m. till time of service.
