Emily Smith, age 27, passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2024. Emily's presence could light up any room with her infectious smile. Emily was loved by everyone and made friends instantly.
Emily is survived by her husband, John Smith; daughters, Mya, Connie and Carmen; parents, Jennifer (Roger) Tanner and Gregory Sr. (Tami) Smith; grandparents, Guy Sr. and Mary Smith; siblings, Ashley (Zach) Jones, Jeremiah and Gregory Jr. Smith and Natalee Tanner. She also leaves behind adored nephews, Bentlee and Kaine, along with many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Emily was preceded in death by her grandmother, Connie Grady; great-grandparents, Oscar and Virginia Smith, Robert and Mary Ray and Jerry and Ethel Grady; as well as two great aunts, Pam and Jackie, and a cousin, Joey.
The family welcomes you to Emily's service on Saturday, October 19, 2024 with visitation from 11am until 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305). Her Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation time.
A benefit spaghetti dinner will take place to Celebrate Emily's memory on October 27, 2024 from 5pm until 8pm at 3069 Houston Rd., Norton, OH 44203.
