Mrs. Emma Jean Davis, 75, of Richmond Hill, Georgia, passed away on Thursday March 5, 2026 at 5:15 p.m.
Emma will be missed by her children, Paula Stanley (Henry), Stephanie Presley (Shannon), Jennifer Burns, and Michael Davis (Paris); grandchildren, Haley (Joey), Corey (Shay), Zachary (Sam), Trenton, Gauge, Amber (Cameron), Meagan, Nathan (Haley); 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Loretta Turner, Lois Wieszalski, and Jesse Odom; several nieces and nephews.
Emma was born in Alabama and was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Donald D. Davis; great-grandson, Waylon Greenwood; parents, Alvin Morris and Nellie Richards; siblings, Chiquita Jacobs, Marie Skinner, and Homer Odom Jr. Emma loved the Lord and attended Calvary Church in Pooler for years and the Holy Church of God in Savannah. She sang in the choir as she really enjoyed singing! She was also very involved with the church and loved the Sunday cookouts. She loved shopping at Walmart, Ross, and Marshall’s so she decided to work at all three! She truly enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren! She loves to cook, to read her Bible and watch her dramas! She thrives on big hugs, traveling, and capturing family memories!
The visitation will be on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The funeral to honor Emma’s life will be on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 3 p.m. located at 8819 Highway 301 in Glennville, Georgia.
Dress code: No jeans at all, only dress pants allowed. Colors: Red, blue and purple.
