Emma Laws Obituary
Ms. Laws was a member of Guess Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and loved watching her favorite tv shows.
Ms. Laws is survived by her sisters, Margaret Laws Smith, Jean Laws Wrenn, Catherine Laws Dickerson (Talmadge), Martha Laws Holt (Jerry), Rita Laws Edenfield (Ernest "Butch"), Brenda Laws Hartmetz (David); nieces and nephews, Roy Tilley, Connie Smith, Woody Jones, Jimmy Jones, Kim Barfoot, June Thomas, LouAnne Thompson, Sheryl Clements, Tony Vowell, Tommy Vowell, Sherry Wilson, Chris Babson, Tal Dickerson, Jerry Holt Jr., James Holt, Rhonda Beckom, Stephanie Taylor, Nicole Gerding, Marsha Gobrecht; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Guess Road Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Tilley officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 am at the church. Burial will follow the services in Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hurdle Mills.
Flowers are acceptable or memorial donations may made to Guess Road Baptist Church: 3102 Guess Rd., Durham, NC 27705.
