Emma Mae Linschoten (96) passed away Jan 3, 2026 surrounded by family. Born Nov 30, 1929 to Oldrich and Marie (Sedivy) Cejka. Emma is survived by her sister Marie Rounsevel, brother Frank (Kris) Cejka; son-in-law John Ritterbusch; grandsons David, Jacob (Cynthia), Jay R (Christina, Robert Linschoten, granddaughter Debra (Earl) Bartz, Grandsons Grant (Tommi) and Reed (Alex) Ritterbusch; 12 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, sister Helen (Earl) Wright, Spouse Dean Linschoten and children Randy Linschoten, his wife Sharon, and Penny Ritterbusch.
Emma will be remembered for her many years of service to her community, as a docent for Hogle Zoo, and an active member of her church. She loved animals, flowers and most people in general. She created many happy memories traveling with her family and her friends dubbed the 'Hawaiian Bunch'. She always looked for the positive side in life because "it could always be worse". She was very proud of her family and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at the Central Park Ward (2700 S 300 E, So SLC 84115) on Tues, Jan 13th with a viewing from 9:00-10:30 followed by the funeral service at 11:00. Burial at the Veteran's cemetery in Bluffdale.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Kanab (bestfriends.org); Hogle Zoo or charity of choice.
