Emma Reynolds "Grace" Lowe

Emma “Grace” Reynolds Lowe, age 83, of Salisbury NC, passed away on December 22, 2025. She was born on July 12, 1942, in High Point NC to George and Beulah Reynolds.

Grace graduated from Sparta High School in 1960 and continued her education at the Martin Memorial School of Nursing graduating the program as a Registered Nurse in 1963. While attending nursing school, Grace married the late Russell James Lowe Sr. and became a devoted mother to three sons while working at Rowan Memorial and then Davie County hospitals before retiring and focused her attention on activities that brought her into contact with many people in the community. Grace loved to make cakes, cater meals, and create beautiful floral arrangements which grew into a business that included many of the members of her family. She was a dedicated member of Franklin Presbyterian Church where she served faithfully on many committees including the Session. Grace simply loved people, and she stayed busy serving the community she lived in and touched my lives making them each feel special.

Grace Lowe is survived by two sons John Lowe (Donna) of Salisbury and Andrew Lowe of Bristol TN., Eight Grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a sister Bobbie Scott (Paul) of Jesup GA.

In addition to her husband, Grace was also preceded in death by a son, Russell James Lowe, Jr.

There will be a visitation at Franklin Presbyterian Church on Friday, December 26th from 1:30 until 3:00 followed by a funeral service in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow at the Franklin Presbyterian Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Franklin Presbyterian Church, Trellis Supportive Care and Bayada Hospice.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers and staff who took care of Grace during her time at Terra Bella Salisbury.
